Changes in your body

For some women, nausea starts to ease around now, while for others it takes a few more weeks. You may have a bit more energy. A white, mild-smelling discharge is common; see your doctor if it itches, smells bad or changes colour.

The NT scan window

The NT (nuchal translucency) scan is usually done between 11 and 14 weeks, often with a blood test. Your doctor will go through the results with you.

Bleeding, fluid leaking, fewer baby movements, a bad headache, blurred vision or sudden swelling: call your doctor or hospital now. In an emergency, call 112.
