14 weeks pregnant

Your baby is about the size of a peach.
About 8.7 cm long. Typical sizes; every baby grows at their own pace.
What’s happening this week
Your baby can now make faces, like squinting and frowning. Fine, soft hair called lanugo is starting to cover the body. The neck is getting longer, so the chin lifts away from the chest.
Changes in your body
Welcome to the second trimester, which many women find the easiest stretch. Your appetite may come back. You may notice a dark line down the middle of your tummy, which usually fades after birth.
Eat a little extra, not double
You don't need to eat for two. A little extra, like one more katori of dal or curd, or a fruit, is enough for most women. Your doctor can guide you on weight gain.
Bleeding, fluid leaking, fewer baby movements, a bad headache, blurred vision or sudden swelling: call your doctor or hospital now. In an emergency, call 112.
