13 weeks pregnant

Your baby is about the size of a lemon.
About 7.4 cm long. Typical sizes; every baby grows at their own pace.
What’s happening this week
This is the last week of the first trimester. Your baby's vocal cords are forming, and the body is starting to catch up with the head in size. Your baby may even suck their thumb.
Changes in your body
Energy often starts to come back as you move into the second trimester. You may notice a small bump. Some women get a stuffy nose or small nosebleeds because of the extra blood flow.
Gentle movement every day
A daily walk, light stretching or pregnancy yoga may help your energy and sleep. Ask your doctor what kind of activity is right for you.
Bleeding, fluid leaking, fewer baby movements, a bad headache, blurred vision or sudden swelling: call your doctor or hospital now. In an emergency, call 112.
